Relax and enjoy one of the most sought-after wide-water views on Marco Island. This home has a 165-foot seawall with a 20 x 18-foot patio dock jutting into the bay.
Most of your time probably will be spent outdoors on the screened-in lanai. The patio area is furnished with a dining table, chairs, and a breakfast bar, which can be served directly from the kitchen. There is also a wicker set with a love seat, lounge and chair, a good place to read a book and/or watch the children while they are in the pool.
For those who like to fish, Landmark Bay is called Tarpon Bay because it shelters baby tarpon year-round. It is not unusual to occasionally see four and five-foot tarpon splashing about just off the patio dock.
Landmark Bay hosts a variety of small fish (snapper, sheepshead porgies, cravalle jacks, ladyfish) and an occasional snook coming to hook. Also, dolphins cruise through the bay on a regular basis, popping to the surface in their acrobatic display.
In addition, there is much bird life on the bay, including pelicans, herons, egrets, ibis, spoonbills and, of course, seagulls. On occasion, you might spot an osprey, hawk or owl. There also are colonies of burrowing owls on Marco Island.
For those who love the sun, the patio dock will be the draw while at home. There are several chaise lounges on the lanai that can be moved easily to the dock. And fishing from the dock, ahhhh!Â
